8-3-2017 – Corona – The Corona-Norco Unified School District and the University of Redlands hosted the third annual Better Together: California Teachers Summit Friday, July 28 at Lee V. Pollard High School from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The free event was open to all California pre-K-12th grade teachers, teacher candidates, school administrators and other educators.

The Summit featured TED-style EdTalks presented by local teachers, EdCamp discussions on teacher-selected topics, and opportunities for networking and sharing ideas and resources with fellow teachers. Lisa Stallings, CNUSD first-grade teacher at Coronita Elementary and a 2014 Riverside County teacher of the year, was a Local EdTalk speaker. Lisa spoke about taking risks and engaging classrooms.
