2-8-2018 – Corona – Centennial High School students Madison Hill and Dawna Cho will be honored at the Inland Empire Affiliate Aspirations Award Ceremony next month.

Dawna Cho was the Center for Women and Information Technology Inland Empire Award winner. Madison Hill received an honorable mention.

The National Center for Women and Information Technology Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC) honors women in grades 9 through 12 who are active and interested in computing and technology, and encourages them to pursue their passions. Award for AiC recipients are chosen for their demonstrated interest and achievements in computing, proven leadership ability, academic performance, and plans for post-secondary education.

Madison and Dawna both completed an exhaustive application and created a STEM portfolio. They will receive recognition at a Regional Affiliate Award event, an engraved award, scholarship and internship opportunities, and much more!
