Parents on Point event was held at Eleanor Roosevelt High School for the second year on April 26, 2016.
The purpose of the event is to educate parents and guardians of current teen trends and challenges. The evening started with an introduction of presenters along with a short video inside of the ERHS Theatre. At the end of the introductions, parents were able to look through the brochure and decide which presentations they would attend for the two breakout sessions.
There were eight different topics to chose from which included helicopter parenting, misuse of social media, eating disorder awareness, and more. The event was a great success with a large number of parents and guardians in attendance.
